Internet
Your P30 is equipped with an Internet browser that enables you
to view information on the World Wide Web or on WAP pages.
You can also bookmark your favorite pages or save them for off-
line viewing as you do on your PC.
Before you can use Internet, you need to set up an Internet
account in Control panel. If you intend to use certain WAP ser-
vices, it might also be necessary to set up a WAP account in Con-
trol panel.
Proxy settings for a WAP gateway should be set in the WAP
account. Other proxy settings should be set in the Internet
account.
Connecting to/Disconnecting from the Internet
If your P30 is not connected to the Internet when you try to load
a Web page, it will connect automatically. It then remains con-
nected until the idle time you have specified in the Internet
accounts settings has elapsed or you disconnect manually.
To disconnect, tap
ARCHIVE=PICTURES NAME=GPRS_ACC
or ARCHIVE=PICTURES NAME=DIALUP in the status bar and
select Disconnect.
Opening the Internet Browser
Method 1
Tap the Internet icon on the Application Launcher screen.
Method 2
Tap a URL (web address) in a mail or message.
Opening Page
1. Tap
Internet and select Open page from the menu that appears.
2. In the Location field, enter the web address and then tap Open.
If you have previously visited certain web pages, their addresses
will appear in the drop-down list. You can also tap to select one
from them.
