Message lists/settings
All SMS and MMS messages are saved in
four different lists:
Inbox
§Menu§ ¢ ] ¢ Inbox ¢ MMS/SMS
The list of SMS, MMS and CB messages
received is displayed. To receive an
MMS subsequently, open notification and
press
§Receiving§.
Draft
§Menu§ ¢ ] ¢ Draft ¢ MMS/SMS
The list of stored drafts is displayed.
Unsent
§Menu§ ¢ ] ¢ Unsent ¢ MMS/SMS
The list of MMS messages not yet
successfully sent or not yet completely
sent concatenated SMS messages is
displayed.
Sent
§Menu§ ¢ ] ¢ Sent ¢ MMS/SMS
The list of sent SMS or MMS messages
is displayed.
SMS profiles, MMS profiles
§Menu§ ¢ ] ¢ Msg. setup
¢ SMS profiles/MMS profiles
Profiles have to be created for SMS and
MMS. The transmission characteristics are
defined in these. The data for these may
already have been entered. If not, you can
obtain this from your service provider.

Ring tones
§Menu§ ¢  ¢ Select function.
You can set the ring tone separately for
call types/functions. You can download
new ringtones from the internet via
Download new.
Ringer setting
Activate/deactivate the ring tone or
reduce it to a short beep.
Silent alert
Activate/deactivate silent alert (also in
addition to the ring tone). The silent alert
is activated if the highest volume is set for
the ring tone.
Volume
Set the volume for the ring tones.
Please make sure you have accepted the call
before holding the phone to your ear. This will
avoid damage to your hearing from loud ring
tones.
