Profiles
§Menu§ ¢ m ¢ Profiles
Several settings can be stored in a phone
profile in order, for example, to adapt the
phone to the surrounding level of noise.
• Five standard profiles are provided with
default settings. They can be changed
however: Normal envi., Quiet environ.,
Noisy environ., Car Kit, Headset.
• You can set two personal profiles
(<Empty>).
• The special profile Airplane mode is
permanent and cannot be changed.
Switch on
Select default profile or personal profile

Select profile or personal profile, then
¢ §Options§ ¢ Change sett.
The list of available functions is displayed.
Car Kit
If a original Car Kit is used, the profile is
activated automatically as soon as the
phone is inserted into the cradle (p. 35).
Headset
If an original headset is used, the profile is
activated automatically as soon as the
headset is in operation.
Airplane mode
Sound for all alarms (appointments,
alarm clock) are deactivated. Alarms are
only indicated on the display. This profile
cannot be modified. The phone will switch
off if you select the profile Airplane mode.
Confirm a security promt.
Normal mode
When you switch on your phone again, the
previously set profile will be reactivated
automatically.
Display

¢ Select function.
Language
Set the language of the display text.
When "automatic" is set, the language of
your service provider is used. Reset to this
language in standby mode:

Text input

T9 preferred
Activate/deactivate intelligent text entry.
Input language
Select language for text entry. Languages
with T9 support are marked with the T9
symbol.
Wallpaper
Set background graphic for display.
Logo
Choose picture to be displayed instead of
the provider logo.
