Getting started

Removing the back cover

1. Use a thin object such as a finger nail

to press in at the groove just below

the cover on the bottom edge of the

phone as illustrated.

2. Lift the cover off the phone.

Inserting the SIM card

1. Slide the SIM card holder backward

to release it.

2. Swing the SIM card holder upright as

illustrated.

3. Slide the entire SIM card into the card

holder, with the metal contacts of the

SIM card facing the battery bay and

the cut corner at the top right.

4. Swing the SIM card holder back onto

the battery bay.

5. Slide the SIM card holder forward so

that it locks in place.

A SIM card can be easily damaged if its

metal contacts become scratched.

Therefore, take special care when holding

or inserting it.
