All contacts
All contacts (excluding SIM contacts)
are saved on the phone and displayed in
alphabetical order. Distribution lists are
displayed additionally.
A contact can include 4 numbers,
4 e-mail addresses, 2 URLs, 2 fax
numbers and 2 postal addresses.
Adding a new contact
Opening a contact entry
•In the All contacts tab: select New
entry.
• In standby mode:
1. Enter a number
2. Press (Options) and select
Save.
3. Select To new contact.
4. Select a phone type.
Filling contact information
The input fields are organised on 4 tabs:
Within the tabs:
1. Press to select input fields.
2. Fill in input fields.
Assigning media files
In some input fields (ringtone, picture)
you can assign ringtones and pictures.
Press to select a media field (e.g.
picture) and confirm with .
Depending on the media type you can
either record a new media file via
camera or sound recorder or select a file
from the corresponding My stuff folder
(page 72).
Saving a contact
1. Press (Options) and select Save
contact.
2. Press to confirm save
notification.
SIM
contacts
Contacts saved on the
SIM card.
Filter
Apply different filter criteria
to all contacts.
General
info
First and last name,
important numbers (private,
business, mobile phone).
Private
E-mail address, fax number,
address and notes.
Business
Office information and
address.
Personal
Ringtone, picture, group,
birthday and display name.
