Using manual focus
To manually adjust the focus on the subject, do the following:
1. Set the mode dial to the desired shooting
mode.
2. Press to enter the Focus mode menu.
3. Use the wheel dial or press or to select
Manual focus.
4. Press to confirm the selection.
5. Press or to select to manually adjust
the focus
and press to confirm the setting.
Adjusting EV setting
EV (Exposure Value) lightens or darkens the entire image. Adjust EV when the
brightness between the subject and the background is not balanced, or when the
subject occupies only a small part of the picture.
1. Set the mode dial to , , , or .
2. Use the wheel dial to select the appropriate
setting.
3. Press to confirm the setting.
The focus mode is not available in Auto mode.
