Remote control effective range
The projector has two IR remote control sensors. One is located at the front and the other at the top of the projector, both with a range of 8 meters
(~26 feet) at an angle of 30-degrees (left and right) and 20-degrees (up and down). The remote control can be used either by pointing it directly at the
IR sensors at the front or top of the projector or by reflecting the IR signal off of a wall.
Make sure that there are no obstacles between the remote control and the IR sensor on the projector.
BenQ Smart Control (remote control app)
The settings menu also features a link to install the BenQ Smart Control app, which lets you transform your smartphone into a remote control to
control the projector via buttons and/or touch gestures.
Installing the BenQ Smart Control app on your smartphone
To install the BenQ Smart Control app on your smartphone:
1. Make sure your smartphone is connected to the Internet.
