INSTALLATION menu
Projector
Position
Front Table
Select this location with the projector placed on the
table in front of the screen. This is the most
common way to position the projector for quick
setup and portability.
Front Ceiling
Select this location with the projector suspended
upside-down from the ceiling in front of the screen.
Purchase the BenQ Projector Ceiling Mount Kit
from your dealer to mount your projector on the
ceiling.
Rear Ceiling
Select this location with the projector suspended
upside-down from the ceiling behind the screen. Note
that a special rear projection screen and the BenQ
Projector Ceiling Mount Kit are required for this
installation location.
Rear Table
Select this location with the projector placed on the
table behind the screen. Note that a special rear
projection screen is required.
Test Pattern
Adjusts the image size and focus and check that the
projected image is free from distortion.
Aspect Ratio
There are several options to set the image's aspect ratio depending on your input
signal source.
Auto: Scales an image proportionally to fit the
projector's native resolution in its horizontal or vertical
width.
4:3: Scales an image so that it is displayed in the center
of the screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio.
16:9: Scales an image so that it is displayed in the
center of the screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
16:10: Scales an image so that it is displayed in the
center of the screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio.
