Adjusting the sound
The sound adjustments made (such as functions shown below) will have an effect on the projector
speaker(s). Be sure you have made a correct connection to the projector audio input. See "Connecting to
video equipment" on page 16 for how the audio input is connected.
• Each time when you select a different source, the projector also changes the sound settings to which was
last set for that particular source.
• Sound adjustments cannot be made during Quick Search.
To access Audio Settings:
1. Press MENU/EXIT to open the OSD menu and press / to highlight the Source menu.
2. Press to highlight Audio Settings and press ENTER. The Audio Settings page is displayed.
SRS™
Activating this function enables the SRS™ technology. The projector can provide surround sound and restore natural
sound.
To activate SRS™ sound:
From Audio Settings page, highlight SRS and press / to select On.
Muting the sound
To temporarily turn off the sound:
From Audio Settings page, highlight Mute and press / to select On.
If available, you can also press MUTE on the remote control to toggle projector audio between on and off.
Adjusting the sound level
To adjust the sound level, press VOLUME+/VOLUME- on the remote control, or:
From Audio Settings page, highlight Volum e and press / to select a desired sound level.
Adjusting the treble
To adjust the treble:
From Audio Settings page, highlight Tre bl e and press / to select a desired treble level.
Adjusting the bass
To adjust the bass:
From Audio Settings page, highlight Bass and press / to select a desired bass level.
Turning off the Power On/Off Ring Tone
To turn off the ring tone:
From Audio Settings page, highlight Power On/Off Ring Tone and press / to select Off.
The only way to change Power On/Off Ring Tone is setting On or Off here. Setting the sound mute or
changing the sound level will not affect the Power On/Off Ring Tone.
