Setting the lamp mode
This projector is capable of dual-lamp projection and provides several lamp modes for different purposes:
You can perform one of the following methods to choose a lamp mode according to your preference.
Using the remote control:
1. Press Lamp Mode on your remote control, the lamp mode page is displayed.
2. Press to highlight your preferred lamp mode and press ENTER.
Using the OSD menu:
1. Press MENU/EXIT and then press / until the System Setup: Advanced menu is highlighted.
2. Press to highlight Lamp Settings and press ENTER.
3. Press to highlight Lamp Mode and press ENTER.
4. Press to highlight your preferred lamp mode and press ENTER.
• If one lamp fails, the projector enters Normal-Single Alternative mode automatically. Normal-Dual,
Economic-Dual and
Economic-Single Alternative settings are not available.
• After switching from Normal-Dual/Economic-Dual mode to Normal-Single Alternative/Economic-Single
Alternative mode or vice versa, wait for 90 seconds before you can adjust the lamp mode again.
• A slight variation in the picture brightness and colors may be observed during the very short time of
switching lamp modes.
Controlling the projector through a Wired
LAN environment
Wired LAN allows you to manage the projector from a computer using a web browser when the
computer and the projector are properly connected to the same local area network.
