TV adapter
Intro
SoundGate overview
This user guide ex plains how the Sound Gate is used for
TV listening .
The TV soun d is transmitted by the TV adapter to the
SoundGate via Bluetooth technology.
Make sure that the T V adapter is corre ctly connected to the
TV. Refer to the installation guide.
When the TV adapter is turned on al l operations for T V
listening are made from the SoundGate.
TV listening is possible within a range of approx.
10 meters / 30 feet from the TV.

SoundGate Bluetooth
function must be active.
When phone rings, press
phone key on SoundGate
to answer.
Talk into SoundGate
microphone (optimal
distance is 30 cm/
12 inches).
Press SoundGate phone
key again to end call.
Place call from your
mobile phone like normal.
Talk into the SoundGate
microphone – do not press
the SoundGate phone key.
Press the volume/program
key up or down until the
sound is comfortable.
Press the volume/program
key up or down for 2 seconds.
Adjust volume level up or down
in the hearing instruments with
a short press.
Press and hold up or down for
2 seconds to go forward or bac kward
in the program cycle.
Note: This is only possible if the
hearing instruments are confi -
gured for multiple programs.
During audio streaming,
it is not possible to shift to
another program.

Paired Bluetooth devices fi nd each other when turned on.
If devices do not connect autom atically, they must be con-
nected manually. Always turn on your m obile phone before
turning on the Bluetooth function in th e SoundGate.
Out of range hand ling of Bluetooth
If the SoundGate is moved out of Blu etooth rang e of the
mobile phone, the connecti on will be lost. Moving the de-
vices back into range should c ause them to re-connect.

SoundGate overview
This user guide ex plains how the Sound Gate is used for
phone conversations.
The Phone adapter provides a wireless connection be-
tween your Soun dGate and your home ph one. It supports
both incoming an d outgoing phone call s. The SoundGate
enables hands free operation.
First of all make sure that the Phone adapte r is correctly
connected to both the phone land line an d power. Please
refer to the install ation guide.
The wireless ph one application is p ossible within a
range of approx. 10 meters (30 feet) from th e Phone
a da p t e r .
