Phone adapter
Setting up the phone adapter
1. Connect the phone adapter to a power outlet.
2.Toconnectthephoneadaptertothelandlinetelephone,
unplug the phone cable from the land line phone station
and connect it to the black socket on the phone adapter.
3.Connectthesuppliedphonecabletotheyellowsocket
on the phone adapter. Plug the other end of the cable
into the landline phone.
4.ForBluetooth
®
pairing place the SoundGate next to the
phoneadapter(lessthan30cm/1ft).
5.PresstheSoundGateBluetooth
®
keyfor5secondsuntil
thebluelightstartsashingrapidly.
6.Presstheredbuttononthephoneadapterfor5seconds
untiltheredstatusindicatorisashing.
7. After5–10secondstheredstatuslightonthephone
adapter will become steady. The blue light on the
SoundGate Bluetooth
®
keywilllightupfor5seconds
and then slowly fades on and off.
8. Verify the pairing by pressing the phone key on the
SoundGate. The red indicator on the phone adapter
shouldstartashing.
