Preparation of the hearing instruments
and SoundGate
1. Verify that you have new batteries for the hearing instruments.
2. Make sure that the SoundGate is fully charged. If not, recharge the day before your demonstration.
You may use the wall outlet charging unit, or you may charge from a computer or laptop with the
USB charging cable.
3. The hearing instruments must be paired with the SoundGate device. Please connect the instru
ments to the Oasis tting software, choose Options, select Controls and follow the instructions
after starting the pairing process.
Tips for successful pairing
– Make sure the SoundGate has a fully charged battery.
– Hold the device between 30 and 50 cm (1
– 1½ feet) away from the instruments.
– Don’t forget to press “OK” to save.
