Preparation of the mobile phone

Here is an example using a Nokia mobile phone:
1. Press the “Menu” key.
2. Scroll to “Settings” and press “Select”.
3. Scroll down to “Connectivity” and press “Select”.
4. Select “Bluetooth
®
”.
5. Select ”On”.
Preparation of the SoundGate – Put the SoundGate into the Bluetooth
®
pairing mode
6. Make sure that the key lock on the top of the SoundGate is off
(green position).
7. Press and hold the Bluetooth
®
key for about 6 seconds until it
ashes rapidly.
8. The SoundGate is now in pairing mode for a maximum of 2 minutes.

pairing of the mobile phone and the SoundGate:
9. Go back to the mobile phone. Scroll down to ”Search for audio/Bluetooth”
and press “Select”. The phone will begin searching for Bluetooth
®
enabled
devices.
10. In the list of available devices, highlight ”SoundGate 1.4” and press “Select”.
11. Enter the Passcode: 0000 (four zeroes), and press “OK”. The phone will
now complete the pairing and connect the two devices.
12. To return to the main menu, press the red “End call” key or press Exit/Back
a few times.
