OPERATION Hood Controls The lights and blower are operated using the (5) push buttons located on the underside of the hood. Fig. 1. It can also be controlled with an optional ACR Series remote control. Ten Minute Delay Press Speed 1, Speed 2, or Speed 3 for two (2) seconds when the blower is running at the selected speed. The LED below the button will start blinking to display the delay function. After ten (10) minutes, the blower will automatically turn off.
HALOGEN BULBS This range hood requires two halogen bulbs (Type MR11, 12 Volt, 20 Watt Max, G4 2-pin Base). WARNING: Always switch off the electrical supply before carrying out any operation on the appliance. To remove old bulbs: Pull downward (DO NOT ROTATE). Fig. 2. ! FIG. 2 CAUTION: Bulbs may be hot. To install new bulbs: Align pins with holes in lamp socket. Push bulb up until securely seated. Use only Type MR11, 12 Volt, 20 Watt Max., G4 2-pin base replacement bulbs.

STRUCTURAL REQUIREMENTS CEILING JOISTS OR 2nd STORY FLOOR JOISTS 1. Install a 2-in. x 8-in. wooden support directly above and centered over the cooktop. Securely fasten this support to ceiling joists or second story floor joists. It must be capable of supporting the weight of the hood. Fig. 4. 2. After the ceiling is finished, center the mounting template over the cooktop with “FRONT” toward the user. Fig. 5. 3. Mark and drill (6) 1/8-in.

INSTALL ELECTRICAL 120 VAC POWER CABLE WARNING : Electrical wiring must be done by a qualified person(s) in accordance with all applicable codes and standards. This range hood must be properly grounded. Turn off electrical power at service entrance before wiring. GROMMET WIRING BOX GREEN TO GROUND BLACK TO BLACK 1. INSTALL RANGE HOOD BODY M5 x 15 mm SCREWS (3) 1. Thread (3) M5 x 15 mm screws into range hood body, but do not tighten. Fig.13. 2. Leave a 5/16” gap between underside of washers and mounting surface. 3. Lift range hood body into position under downrod bracket. 4. Turn body until (3) M5 screws engage with slots in mounting bracket. Tighten screws. Fig.14. CAUTION: To ensure that range hood body is secure, make sure this screw is installed and securely fastened! 5.
INSTALL FILTER NOTE: Prior to use, remove protective plastic film from both filter frames. 2 GREASE FILTER To remove grease filter: (Fig. 16) Pull down on latch tab to disengage filter from hood. Tilt filter downward and remove. To install grease filter: Align rear filter tabs with slots in hood. Pull latch tab down. Push filter into place and release latch tab. FONCTIONNEMENT Commandes de la hotte L’éclairage et le ventilateur sont commandés à l’aide de cinq (5) boutons-poussoirs situés sous la hotte. Fig. 1. Une télécommande Série ACR est également offerte en option. Arrêt différé de dix minutes Appuyez sur Vitesse 1, Vitesse 2 ou Vitesse 3 pendant deux (2) secondes lorsque le ventilateur est en marche à la vitesse choisie. Le voyant DEL situé sous le bouton commence à clignoter pour indiquer la fonction de minuterie.
AMPOULES HALOGÈNES Cette hotte nécessite deux ampoules halogènes (Type MR11, 12 volts, maximum 20 watts, culot G4 à 2 broches). AVERTISSEMENT : Coupez toujours l’alimentation électrique avant d’effectuer tous travaux sur l’appareil. Pour enlever les vieilles ampoules : Tirez vers le bas (NE PAS TOURNER). Fig. 2. ! PRÉPARATION DE LA HOTTE Déballez la hotte et vérifiez le contenu de la boîte. Fig. 3.
EXIGENCES STRUCTURELLES SOLIVES DU PLAFOND OU DU PLANCHER DU 2e ÉTAGE 1. Installez un support de bois de 5 cm x 20 cm (2 po x 8 po) directement au-dessus de la surface de cuisson et centré sur celle-ci. Fixez solidement ce support aux solives du plafond ou aux solives du plancher de l’étage supérieur. Il doit être capable de supporter le poids de la hotte. Fig. 4. REMARQUE : Pour un rendement optimal, la hotte ne doit pas être montée à moins de 59,7 cm (23½ po) et à plus de 77,5 cm (30½ po) au-dessus de la surface de cuisson. C 3. INSTALLATION DU CORPS DE LA HOTTE VIS M5 x 15 mm (3) 1. Vissez trois (3) vis M5 x 15 mm dans le corps de la hotte mais sans les serrer. Fig.13. 2. Laissez un jeu de 8 mm (5/16 po) entre le dessous des rondelles et la surface de montage. 3. Soulevez la hotte en place sous la bride de la tige descendante. 4. Tournez la hotte jusqu’à ce que les trois (3) vis M5 s’engagent dans les fentes de la bride de montage. Serrez les vis. Fig.14. 5.
INSTALLATION DU FILTRE REMARQUE : Avant l’utilisation, enlevez la pellicule protectrice sur le cadre des filtres. 2 FILTRE À GRAISSES Pour enlever le filtre à graisses : (Fig. 16) Tirez la languette du loquet vers le bas pour dégager le filtre de la hotte. Inclinez le filtre vers le bas et enlevez-le. Pour installer le filtre à graisses : Alignez les ergots de l’arrière du filtre sur les fentes de la hotte. Tirez la languette du loquet vers le bas. Poussez le filtre en place et relâchez la languette.

FUNCIONAMIENTO Controles de la campana Las luces y el ventilador se operan con los cinco (5) botones que se encuentran en la parte inferior de la campana. Fig. 1. También se pueden hacer funcionar con un control remoto opcional Serie ACR. Retardo de diez minutos Presione velocidad 1, velocidad, 2 o velocidad 3 durante dos (2) segundos cuando el ventilador esté a la velocidad seleccionada. La pantalla LED debajo del botón comenzará a destellar para mostrar la función de retardo.
BOMBILLAS DE HALÓGENO Esta campana de estufa requiere dos bombillas de halógeno. (Tipo MR11, 12 V, 20 W máximo y base G4 de 2 clavijas). ADVERTENCIA: Siempre apague el suministro eléctrico antes de realizar cualquier operación en el electrodoméstico. Para quitar las bombillas viejas: Tire de ellas hacia abajo (NO LAS GIRE). Fig. 2. REQUISITOS ESTRUCTURALES VIGAS DEL TECHO O VIGAS DEL SEGUNDO PISO 1. Instale un soporte de madera de 2 x 8 pulg. (5 x 20 cm) directamente sobre la estufa y centrado sobre la misma. Sujete firmemente este soporte a las vigas del techo o a las vigas del segundo piso. Debe ser capaz de soportar el peso de la campana. Fig. 4. 2. Una vez que el techo se haya terminado, centre la plantilla de montaje sobre la estufa con el “FRENTE” orientado hacia el usuario. Fig. 5. 3.
NOTA: Para lograr un rendimiento óptimo, la campana debe montarse a no menos de 23 ½ pulg. (59.7 cm) y no más de 30 ½ pulg. (77.5 cm) sobre la estufa. C 3. INSTALACIÓN ELÉCTRICA CABLE DE ALIMENTACIÓN DE 120 VCA ADVERTENCIA: Una o más personas calificadas deben realizar el trabajo de cableado eléctrico, de acuerdo con todos los códigos y normas correspondientes. INSTALACIÓN DEL CUERPO DE LA CAMPANA DE LA ESTUFA TORNILLOS M5 X 15 mm (3) 1. Enrosque tres (3) tornillos M5 x 15 mm en el cuerpo de la campana pero no los apriete. Fig.13. 2. Deje una separación de 5/16 pulg. (0,7 cm) entre la parte inferior de las arandelasy la superficie de montaje. 3. Levante el cuerpo de la campana de estufa en posición debajo del soporte de la varilla. 4. Gire el cuerpo de la campana hasta que los tres (3) tornillos M5 encajen con las ranuras del soporte de montaje.
INSTALACIÓN DEL FILTRO NOTA: Antes de utilizar este producto, despegue la película protectora de los dos marcos de filtro. FILTRO DE GRASA 2 1 Para quitar el filtro de grasa: (Fig. 16) Tire hacia abajo de la lengüeta de cierre para desacoplar el filtro de la campana. Incline el filtro hacia abajo y quítelo.
