CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Cleantheoutersurfaceofallpartswithadampclothandacleanersuitableforplastics.Makesureno
moisturegetsintotheappliance.
2. Overthecourseoftimedustanddirtcanaccumulatearoundthewheelaxles,therebypreventingthe
wheelsfromturningeasily.Consequentlytheyshouldbekeptclean.
• Neverimmersetheappliance,plugorpowercordinwater.
• Neverusecorrosiveorscouringcleaningagentsorsharpobjects(suchasknivesorhardbrushes)
tocleantheappliance.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE - Changing the dust bag
1. Changethedustbagimmediatelyoncethe‘dustbagfull’indicatorturnsred,seeFigure7.
Itispossiblethattheindicatorturnsredwhilst
thedustbagisnotyetfull.Ifso,thenthenozzle,
hoseortubesmaybeblocked.Thesewillthen
needtobecleaned.
2. Open the cover by pulling the cover release
(dustbag)upwards.Removethedustbagfrom
theholder,anddisposeofitinadustbin.
3. Fitanewdustbagintheholderandpressintoposition.
4. Closethecover,andpressuntilitclicksintoplace.
Makesurethatthedustbagdoesnotbecomepinchedbythecover.Thiscoulddamagetheappliance
and/orthedustbag.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE - Cleaning or replacing the motor safety filter
Cleanorreplacethemotorsafetyfilteratleasttwiceayear,andmorefrequentlyifthefilterisvisiblyblocked.
1. Removetheplugfromthewallsocket.
2. Removethehosefromthevacuumcleaner.
3. Open the cover by pulling the cover release
(dustbag)upwards.Removethedustbag,see
Figure7.Removethemotorsafetyfilterholder,
locatedbehindthedustbag:seeFigure8.
4. Disposeofthefilter,orwashitinlukewarmwater.Allowittodrythoroughly.
5. Returnthecleanedornewfiltertoitsholder,andfittheholderintheappliance.Fitadustbag.Closethe
cover,andpressuntilitclicksintoplace.
• Water could penetrate into the appliance if the filter is not thoroughly dry. This could result in
(electrical)damage.
• Makesurethatthedustbagdoesnotbecomepinchedbythecover.Thiscoulddamagetheappliance
and/orthedustbag.
