BEFORE FIRST USE
• Removepackagingmaterials,labelsandstick-
ers from coffee maker.
• Cleancoffeemakerthoroughlybeforeusing
for the first time (Cleaning).
NOTE: To clear the coffee maker of any resi
-
dues fill it to the maximum level mark with
fresh water. Boil and empty the coffee maker
at least 2 times.
The coffeemaker is only for brewing coffee.
• Openlid(2).Turnthewaterspigottothe
back and lift out the filter basket (3).
• Place12-cupU-typepaperltersintothe
filter basket (3) and replace the filter basket to
the coffeemaker.
• Addthedesiredamountofgroundcoffee
to the filter (suggested amount for each cup
of coffee is 1 to 1.5 level measuring spoon;
depending on taste).
USING THE
COFFEEMAKERS
OPERATION
• Turnthewaterspigot(4)tothelterbasket’s
center.
• Fillcarafe(7)withdesiredamountofwater
(check the water level indicator (6) on coffee
maker). Pour water into the water tank (5).
• Replacecarafe(7)onthewarming/heating
plate (12).
• Pressthefrontofthecoffeemakerlid(2)
down until it locks in place.
• Insertpowerplugintoastandard120VAC
wall outlet.
• Turnontheswitch(1)anditwilllight.The
brewing begins.
• Whenthecoffeestopsowingthebrewing
cycle is complete.
• Whenthecoffeemakerisnishedbrewing,
turn the switch off and unplug the unit. (The
switch light will turn off when the unit is
switched off).
NOTE: To interrupt brewing, press the switch
once. The LED light will switch off.
CAUTION
• Toavoidriskofinjury,donottouchthe
warming plate!
• Toreducetheriskofscalding,donot
open the lid when coffee is brewing!
