Inbetriebnahme Die Batterien sind beim neuen Gerät bereits eingelegt. Ziehen Sie vor der ersten Anwendung den herausstehenden Batterieschutzstreifen aus dem Batteriefach.

Was Sie vor dem Messen wissen sollten Es gibt verschiedene Thermometer zur Messung an unterschiedlichen Körperstellen: • Ohr-/Stirn-Thermometer (dieses Thermometer, zur Messung im Ohr oder an der Stirnregion) • Stab-Thermometer (zur rektalen [im After], axialen [unter der Achsel] oder oralen Messung [im Mund]) Die Temperaturmessung liefert einen Messwert, der Auskunft gibt über die aktuelle Körpertemperatur eines Menschen.
7. Messen Bitte prüfen Sie vor jeder Anwendung, ob die Linse beschädigt ist. Falls diese beschädigt ist, wenden Sie sich bitte an die Händler- oder Service-Adresse. Berücksichtigen Sie, dass sich das Thermometer mindestens 30 Minuten in dem Raum befinden muss, in dem die Messung vorgenommen wird. Messen der Körpertemperatur im Ohr • • • • • • • 8 Es gibt Personen, die unterschiedliche Messwerte im linken und rechten Ohr haben.

Nach erfolgreichem Selbsttest ertönen zwei kurze Pieptöne.
Der zuletzt ermittelte Messwert, d. h. nur der letzte Wert einer Messreihe, wird automatisch abgespeichert, sobald das Thermometer sich ausschaltet oder ausgeschaltet wird. Dazu stehen 10 Speicherplätze zur Verfügung. und Stirn Forehead. 6. What you should know about using this thermometer There are different thermometers for taking temperature measurements in different parts of the body: • Ear/forehead thermometer (this thermometer, for measuring in the ear or on the forehead area) • Rod thermometer (for rectal [in the back passage], axillary [under the arm] or oral measurement [in the mouth]) Taking the temperature gives a measurement that provides information about a person’s current body temperature.
Measuring body temperature in the ear • • • • • • • • • 22 Some people produce different readings in their left and right ear. In order to record temperature changes, always measure a person’s temperature in the same ear. The ear thermometer may be used by children only under adult supervision. Measurement is usually possible over the age of 6 months.
Make sure that the sensor tip and also the ear canal are clean. As the ear canal is slightly curved, you have to pull the ear slightly up and backwards before inserting the sensor tip. This is important so that the sensor tip can be pointed directly at the eardrum. • Insert the sensor tip carefully and press the button for 1 second. • Release the button. The end of the measuring time is signalled with a short beep and the measured value appears on the display.
Measuring surface temperature • Press the button for 1 second to switch the thermometer on. Following a successful self test, the device emits two short beeps. • Then press the and buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to switch to the Object temperature mode. The symbol appears in the display. • Press and hold the button or Stirn Forehead and point the sensor tip towards the object or liquid to be measured (never immerse in liquids), maintaining a distance of 3 cm. • Release the button or Stirn Forehead.
Note: • When changing the batteries, use batteries of the same type, make and capacity. • Always replace all batteries at the same time. • Do not use rechargeable batteries. • Use batteries free from heavy metals. 1. 9. Rangement et entretien • • • • • • Nettoyez la pointe du capteur après chaque utilisation. Pour cela, utilisez un chiffon doux ou un bâtonnet ouaté qui peut être humidifié avec du désinfectant, de l’alcool ou de l’eau chaude. Pour nettoyer l’appareil entier, veuillez utiliser un chiffon doux légèrement humidifié avec de la lessive. N’utilisez pas de produits nettoyants agressifs. Stockez toujours le thermomètre avec un embout frontal/de protection posé dessus.

Información relevante antes de tomar la temperatura Hay diferentes termómetros para tomar la temperatura en distintas partes del cuerpo: • Termómetros para el oído/la frente, que sirven para tomar la temperatura en el oído o en la frente. • Termómetros de barra, que sirven para para tomar la temperatura rectalmente (en el ano), axialmente (debajo de la axila) u oralmente (en la boca). Tomar la temperatura indica el valor de medición de la temperatura corporal real de la persona.
7. Tomar la temperatura Antes de cada uso, compruebe si la lente está dañada. En el caso de que esté dañada, póngase en contacto con su distribuidor o con el servicio de asistencia técnica. Tenga en cuenta que el termómetro debe estar en el mismo lugar en el que se va a realizar la toma de temperatura durante 30 minutos como mínimo. Tomar la temperatura en el oído • • • • • • • 48 Hay personas que tienen distintos valores de medición en el oído izquierdo y en el derecho.
• • Pulse durante un segundo la tecla para encender el termómetro. Suenan dos pitidos cortos en cuanto la autocomprobación ha concluido con éxito. Tomar la temperatura en la frente Procure que ni la frente ni las sienes estén cubiertas de sudor o maquilladas al tomar la temperatura, y recuerde que la ingesta de medicamentos vasoconstrictores y las irritaciones en la piel pueden alterar el resultado de las mediciones en la frente. • Pulse durante un segundo la tecla para encender el termómetro. El último valor de medición, es decir, sólo el último valor de una serie de mediciones, se guarda automáticamente en cuanto se apaga el termómetro. 9. Conservación y cuidado • • • • • • Limpie la punta del sensor tras cada uso. Para ello, utilice un paño suave o un bastoncillo de algodón que se pueda mojar en desinfectante, en alcohol o en agua caliente. Para limpiar todo el aparato utilice un paño suave mojado con lejía jabonosa. No utilice ningún producto de limpieza agresivo. Guarde siempre el termómetro con la tapa abatible/frontal puesta. Si no va a usar el termómetro durante mucho tiempo, retire la pila.

Informazioni utili per la misurazione Esistono diversi termometri che prevedono la misurazione della temperatura in punti del corpo differenti: • Termometro auricolare/frontale (termometro per la misurazione nell’orecchio o sulla fronte) • Termometro tradizionale (per la misurazione rettale, ascellare oppure orale) La misurazione della temperatura fornisce un valore che indica la temperatura corporea attuale di un soggetto.
7. Misurazione Prima di ogni utilizzo, verificare che la lente non sia danneggiata. In caso di danni rivolgersi al proprio rivenditore o al Servizio clienti. Accertarsi che il termometro si trovi nelle stesse condizioni ambientali per almeno 30 minuti prima di eseguire la misurazione. Misurazione della temperatura auricolare • • • • • • • Alcune persone presentano valori diversi nell’orecchio sinistro e nell’orecchio destro.
