Congratulations and thank you for selecting the TG-X 58
dynamic microphone. Please take some time to read carefully
through this product information before setting up the
equipment.
Applications
The TG-X 58 has been designed for miking vocals, speech
and instruments. It can be used as a handheld or used on a
stand.
The microphone’s barrel is finished with a special soft lacquer
coating which makes the microphone very comfortable to hold
in the hand.
Connection
The TG-X 58 is equipped with a 3-pin XLR-plug. You can
connect the microphone to any microphone input. For
connecting cables refer to “Optional Accessories”.
Setting up and Use
The TG-X 58 has a locking ON/OFF-switch, to avoid
accidental switching off of the microphone.
Switching on Slide the switch upwards. In this position
you can turn the screw to the left with a
small screwdriver to lock the ON/OFF-
switch.
Switching off Slide the switch downwards. If you have
previously locked the switch, you must
turn the screw to the right with a small
screwdriver first.
The TG-X 58 has a supercardioid polar pattern and is
capable of high gain before feedback. To achieve maximum
gain-before-feedback, the wedge monitor should be
positioned at an angle of approximately 125° to the
longitudinal axis of the microphone.
The TG-X 58 has an integrated pop shield. To avoid “pop”
sounds hold the microphone below from the mouth
slightly diagonally to sing or speak across the top edge of
the microphone.
Supply of the TG-X 58 includes the MKV 108 microphone
clamp for stands with 3/8" or 5/8" thread.
