6.4 Charging
When the Synexis beltpack receivers / beltpack transmitters are equipped with rechargeable batteries, put them into the appropriate
charging compartments of the Synexis C8, C10, C20 or CHP charger.
When the handheld transmitter is equipped with rechargeable batteries, you can recharge it in the appropriate charging compartment of
the Synexis C8, C20 (display and mute button point upwards) or CHP charger (refer to the appropriate drawing).
The charging process starts automatically.
The LED of the beltpack receiver and transmitter indicates the charging state of the batteries.
To indicate the charging state of the batteries inside the handheld transmitter there is an LED above the charging compartment of
the Synexis C8 charger.
LED is flashing blue: The batteries are being charged
LED illuminates blue: The batteries are fully charged
LED is flashing red: Error (no or defective rechargeable batteries or accidental attempt to charge alkaline batteries)
6.5 Maintenance
For maintenance and cleaning disconnect the charger from AC power.
In order to ensure a perfect function, keep the contacts in the charging compartments clean.
Clean the charger with a dry cloth only.
When the housing or the power cable is damaged, the charger must not be put into operation.
6.6 Charging capacity and memory effect
A rechargeable battery achieves its full capacity after several times of charging and discharging.

Furthermore, significance levels are integrated such as dU-recognition, supervision of voltage gradient, temperature and safety timer.
Synexis CHP
Connect the Synexis C20 charger to AC power.
Switch on the charger with the power on switch.
Synexis CHP
