Copy All: to copy all record in phone or in SIM car. You can select from Phone to SIM card or from SIM card to Phone.
Delete: to delete the record. Select to delete all record from SIM card or from Phone. Select to delete record one by one from SIM card or from Phone.
Caller Group: this set provides 5 call groups for you. You can change the group name, ring tone, picture shown, or personal setting for each group.
Extra Number: Extra numbers that saved in SIM card such as own number, service number and emergency number. You can select and edit.
Settings: phonebook’s setting has 4 sub menus: Memory Status, Preferred Storage, Fields, My vCard.
Memory Status: the memory status of SIM card and Mobile Phone
Preferred Storage: to select the prioritized place to save, SIM card or mobile phone.
Fields: to set the content of name card in phone book.
My vcard: edit owner’s name card and send it.
4.4 Messages
4.4.1 SMS
4.4.1.1 New Message
The phone will vibrate (if function is on) or have let out message tone (if function is on) when it received a new message, also show the picture on screen. If
new message is not read, the reminder sign will show on the screen at idle screen and it is saved in SIM card or mobile phone automatically.
Number of messages that SIM card can saved is depends on the capacity of SIM card. To read new message, go into sub menu Mail Box, press OK to read
new message There have SIM1 and SIM2 card ,the same to uses the two cards.
4.4.1.2 Write Message
Message service centre allow you to send or receive message through mobile phone. Please confirm that the service center’s number is set before use.
Go to sub menu Write New to write new message (detail see chapter 5). Press Options
Done: finished writing message, ready for next step
Use Template: to insert Idiom that saved before
Insert Object: inset picture, sounds, animations into the messge
Format Text: define the format of the message text
Input Method: to change the input method during editing
After finishing, press Yes, press Scrolling key to select send/save and send/ save/ send in group to send the message
Send Only: to send the message, select this option to get into receiver screen, press Number key to key in the number or search in phone book to find
the number. Press yes to send
Save and Send: sending the message to receiver meanwhile save it in outbox.
Save: do not send but save the message in outbox
Send to Many: send the message to more than one receiver at the same time
Send by Group: select a call group and send the same message to all members of the group
Attention: some cities and regions do not support the message that is longer than 160 English letters.
4.4.1.3 Inbox
Go into Inbox to read the received messages. Go into outbox to read the saved messages.
In Inbox, the date of receiving and the sender’s name, number are also showing
Use scrolling key to choose previous or next message.
In Inbox menu, press Send to read the message or select options to :
Reply: reply the message to sender
Delete: to delete the current message
Edit: to edit the content of the message
Forward: to forward the message
Copy to Phone/ SIM card: to copy the message to Phone/SIM card
Move to Phone/SIM card: to move the message to Phone/ SIM card
Delete All: to delete all messages in Inbox
Copy All: to copy all from SIM card to phone or from phone to SIM card
Move All: to move all from SIM card to phone or from Phone to SIM card
Use Number: to edit the sender’s number, to dial or to save to phonebook
In Outbox menu, press Yes to read the message or to select options to:
Send: to send the message. You can choose send or send to groups
Edit: Edit the message content
Delete: to delete the message
Copy to Phone: to copy the message to phone
Move to Phone: to move the message to phone
Delete All: to delete all messages in Outbox
Copy All: to copy all from SIM card to phone or from Phone to SIM card
Move All: to move all from SIM card to phone or from Phone to SIM card
Use Number: to edit the sender’s number, to dial or to save to phonebook
Save Objects: extract objects from the EMS and save it
