Safety information
The correct and proper operation of the battery pack is only constituted by using a BICKER UPSI-1208 (D) or UPSI-2406 (D).
The correct activation process of the battery pack (via firmware) is only ensured with these devices! If the packs are
connected to a pure current / voltage source, they will be damaged! The correct connecting order (see user manual
page 48/49) must be strictly followed. When changing the battery packs while the system is running (hot swap-
ping), a period of at least 6 seconds must elapse between disconnecting and re-connecting a battery pack. Please
consider to each country ’s own regulation about recycling and disposal of used batteries etc. in hazardous waste or re sending
to any recycling organization. The battery pack should not be exposed to fire, immersed under water, soldered, opened,
short- circuited, reversed or overheated. During storage the battery pack should not be exposed to temperatures outside the
specification and should not be pushed too heavy and not exposed to high pressure. Do not swallow any parts of
the battery pack.
