SAFETY ADVICE The bag sealer must be connected only to a properly wired 230-240 V socket installed in accordance with the relevant regulations. Never pull the plug out of the socket using the mains cable. The bag sealer must always disconnected from the mains for cleaning or if it develops a fault. The bag sealer is fully insulated. Despite this you must never touch the sealer with moist hands. Do not immerse the bag sealer in any kind of liquid.
Forming the bag a) Unwind the cable from the cable tidy and insert the plug into the properly wired mains socket installed in accordance with the relevant regulations. b) Open cover and take the film roll out of the compartment. Unroll the film enough to ensure that that the place where the first seal is to be made is positioned over the sealing and cutting wires + . Place the roll back into its compartment. The double-layered plastic film is supplied closed on the left side.
Cleaning Before cleaning always disconnect the bag sealer from the mains and ensure that it has cooled. Use a slightly moist cloth for cleaning the outsides of the bag sealer. Never use scouring agents or alcohol for cleaning. If any of the film remains attached to the cutting wire repeat the sealing process again, this time without a film in position. The residual foil can then be quite easily removed. CAUTION: Be careful not to touch the hot cutting wire as you are doing this.
