1a. Prepare the I-Beam
If you are mounting your fan to bar joists, proceed to step 1b on the following page.
Measure the flange width of the I-beam from which the fan will be hung. Select the upper mount mounting holes
that match the flange width of the I-beam.
Skip to step 3a.
