SERVICE

FUEL TANK STRAINER A screen-type fuel strainer is located on top of the supply

valve inside the fuel tank. The screen should be inspected and cleaned every service

interval. With the gas tank empty (drained through the fuel valve line with the valve set

to reserve), carefully unscrew the fuel supply valve from the tank. Inspect and clean the

fuel strainer, then reinstall the valve in the fuel tank.

BE SURE NO OIL GETS ON THE TIRES WHEN CHANGING THE

OIL AND FILTER, AS TRACTION WILL BE ADVERSELY AFFECTED.

the fill neck.
