SAFETY INFORMATION
IMPORTANT: Please read and understand this entire manual. It contains
important safety warnings that you should know before attempting to assemble
or operate the appliance.

WARNINGS
SETUP LOCATION
This appliance is for outdoor use only. Do not use indoors or within an enclosed, unventilated
space. Burning wood gives o! carbon monoxide, which can cause death. This grill is not
intended to installed in or used on boats or any recreational vehicle. Do not use it for any
purpose other than it is intended. This is a residential appliance, that is not for commercial use.
Locate the grill on a hard, non-combustible, smooth and level surface. This location should be
dry, especially when the grill is in use. A minimum clearance of 36 inches, measured from the
grill’s sides and back, from combustible material should be maintained during use and when the
grill hot. Do not use this appliance under overhead surfaces. Do not locate the grill in areas
with " ammable objects, structures or surfaces.
Do not use this grill in wet or rainy conditions. Keep it at least 10 feet away from any large body
of water, such as a pond, lake, swimming pool, etc. To protect against electric shock, never
immerse cord, plugs or electric elements in water or any liquid.
MOISTURE/HUMIDITY
If the grill is stored outdoors, keep the grill covered to prevent moisture from entering the hopper
or other vital components. Do not clean the grill with water spray or similar liquid.
Connect the grill only to a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) protected circuit. The circuit
must be properly grounded. Never operate the grill with a damaged power cord or plug, or
after the grill has malfunctioned or been damaged in any manner. Do not alter or remove the
grounding plugs on the power cord or household outlet.
ELECTRICAL SUPPLY
Use only an extension cord with a 3 prong grounding plug that is rated for the power of the
appliance. This extension cord should be approved for outdoor use with a W-A marking (120V,
60Hz). Keep the extension cord connection dry. Keep the extension cord and power cord away
from any heated surfaces. Check the power cord and extension periodically to make certain
they are not abraded, worn, cut or damaged.
Unplug the grill from electric power when it is not in use. Make sure the grill is cool before
cleaning or conducting other maintenance.
Do not use the grill in extremely windy conditions.
Do not use accessories that are not speci# ed for use with this grill.
