FIRE and BURN HAZARD
In case of • re, turn OFF the grill. Disconnect the power cord from the outlet. Leave the • re to
burn out on its own. Do not try to extinguish the • re by using water. If this is an uncontrollable
re, call your local • re department.
Parts of this grill can become very hot. Keep children and pets away form the grill during or
after use until the surfaces have cooled.
Use only dry pot holders to handle cookware. Moist or damp pot holders on hot surfaces may
cause burns from steam. Do not use a towel or bulky cloth in place of pot holders. Do not let
pot holders touch hot portions of the grill or cooking grids.
Never move the grill while it is operating or when it contains hot pellets or ashes. Always open
the grill lid carefully. The heat and steam inside the grill body is hot.
Never add pellets to a hot • re pot by hand. You could be seriously burned. If the pellets run
out, or the • re goes out, let the grill completely cool and then follow the “Lighting Instructions”
found in this manual.
Do not use heating grade pellets. Use only cooking grade pellets manufactured of 100% natural
wood. NEVER put wood chips or chunks into the hopper!
Never use lighter fl uid, charcoal, lava rocks, gasoline, kerosene, or alcohol with this grill. Always
store the wood pellets away from heat. Keep the wood pellets in a dry location to prevent
swelling or degrading due to moisture. Keep extra pellets in a dry place.
PELLETS
Always unplug the power cord when the grill is not in use. Make certain the grill has completely
cooled before cleaning it and moving to storage. To help extend the life of the grill, keep it
covered when not in use and always keep the grill clean. This not only prolongs the life, but
helps keep insects and animals away.
Store in a dry location, out of reach of children and away from pets.
STORAGE
Before using the grill, be sure that is has been completely assembled and all of the parts have
been properly installed and fasteners tightened.

of California to cause cancer, and carbon monoxide, which is known to the State of
