SHUTDOWN INSTRUCTIONS
Turn the control knob to “OFF”.
The controller will begin its automatic shutdown procedure to properly cool the grill.
Open the grill lid.
Leave the grill lid open until the shutdown procedure is complete; “OFF” will be displayed on the
controller screen.
Close the grill lid and unplug the power cord once the controller displays “OFF”.

ATTENTION: DO NOT IMMEDIATELY DISCONNECT THE POWER!
The automatic shutdown procedure allows the fl ames to burn out naturally. Once the shutdown
procedure starts, the controller begins a 15-minute countdown timer. The display will show “15”
and the fan will continue to run. When the procedure is complete, the fan will stop and controller
will display “OFF”. At this point, disconnect the power cord and close the grill lid.
The grill is still HOT. After the grill has cooled, properly store it in a safe place out of reach of
children and pets.
