Connecting your headset to your PS3™ console if you are using an HDMI cable
If you are using HDMI for your sound and audio on your TV you will still need to use the original AV cable that
was supplied with your console to supply the audio signals to your headset.
1. Plug the AV cable into AV output on the rear of the console. Then plug the red and white RCA plugs from the
AV cable into the red and white connectors on the RCA extension cable.
2. Plug the green coloured 3.5mm plug from your headset into the green coloured female 3.5mm socket on
your extension cable.
3. Connect the USB cable into any spare USB socket on your console.
4. You now need to congure the audio and chat settings on your console. Go to the PS3™ Audio and chat
settings section.
If you have RCA outputs on the rear of your TV, attach the RCA extension cable to the red and white
connectors on the TV and then follow points 2 to 4 as listed above.
