What is 3G?
3G is the common name for third-generation digital mobile technology. It offers consistent services delivered via 3G/HSDPA, EDGE, or UMTS mobile telephony protocols. Compared to 1G
(analog wireless technology) and 2G (digital radio wireless technology such as GPRS), 3G offers faster data transfer rates up to 14.4Mbps.
