Overview of the base
1FIND
a) Press to find/page all registered handsets. Press the
button again, or any key on the handset, to turn off page
signal.
2 ANSWER ON/OFF
a) Press to turn on/off the answering machine.
3 ANNOUNCE MODE
a) Press to toggle the announce mode between ANNC &
RECORD
and ANNOUNCE ONLY mode.
4VOLUME-
a) In idle, during the message playback or during call
screening: Decrease the loudspeaker volume by one
level (0 to 8).
5VOLUME+
a) In Idle, during the message playback or during call
screening: Increase the loudspeaker volume by one
level (0 to 8).
6 Charging LED - Green
a) Steadily ON: When the handset is put into base cradle for
charging.
7 In Use LED - Red
a) Steadily ON: During a call or when an extension phone
(another registered handset or wireless headset) or the
built-in answering machine is off hook.
b) Flashing at a rate similar to the incoming ring pattern:
During an incoming call.
c) Flash at a rate of 0.5s on and 0.5s off for 2 minutes:
During paging or registration.
