1. Getting started WARNING Do not place your phone in the bathroom or other humid areas. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Refer to your mobile phone user’s guide for more information about its Bluetooth function. Make sure that your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone is between one to twelve feet away from the telephone base in order to maintain a clear and consistent connection between your Bluetooth mobile phone, telephone base and cell tower. Make sure that your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone has sufficient signal strength.
5. Using your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone, turn on the Bluetooth feature and search for a new device. 6. Once your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone has found the Motorola L60XBT telephone, select it and continue the pairing process. 7. When the Bluetooth enabled mobile phone is successfully paired, the screen will display “COMPLETED” with a tone and the Bluetooth icon appears on the handset.
3.2.3 Connect the paired mobile phone The icon will be display on the handset screen when a mobile has been paired up, no matter it is connected or not. You can connect the paired mobile phone from the menu. 1. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select PAIR CELLULAR. 2. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOLto select CONNECT. The screen will display “CONNECTING...”. 3. Using your Bluetooth enabled mobile phone, turn on the Bluetooth feature. 4.

3.19 Paging/Finding a handset Press FIND on the base. All handsets registered to the base will ring. To stop the paging, press FIND again, or press any key on the handset, or place the handset on the base. 4. Help The icon is not scrolling when the handset is placed on the base • Handset not properly seated on the base cradle -readjust the handset on the base. • Dirty contact - clean the charge contacts by wiping with an alcohol moistened cloth.
Poor audio quality • If the base is too close to electrical appliances, reinforced concrete walls, or metal door frames, move the base from these areas. No ring tone • The ringer may be off. • 36 If you subscribe to high-speed internet service (Digital Subscriber Line - DSL) through your telephone lines, you must install a DSL filter between the telephone base and the telephone wall jack. The filter will prevent noise and caller ID problems caused by DSL interference.
• Reset the base by unplugging the unit’s electrical power. • Reset the handset by unplugging and re-plugging its battery pack. Wait for around 15 seconds and re-plug the power again. Allow up to one minute for the handset to synchronize with the registered base again. Noise interference on your radio or television • Your base or charger may be too close.
