Introduction Utilizing infrared technology, this thermometer takes temperatures in seconds by measuring heat generated by the surface skin of the forehead or other objects. Battery Installation Low battery warning: When the battery power becomes low, the low battery symbol will appear on the display. The thermometer can still be used during this time, but the batteries should be replaced as soon as possible. If the batteries run out completely, “Lo” will be displayed along with the low battery symbol. In this case, the batteries will need to be replaced before using the thermometer again. System Requirement Smartphones/Tablets: Android™ and iOS® only.

Pairing the Thermometer to Your Mobile Device Download the “Hubble Connect for Smart Nursery” app 1. Go to the Google Play™ Store to search for Hubble Connect for Smart Nursery. 2. Download the Hubble Connect for Smart Nursery app and I install it on your Android™ device or Launch the set-up wizard and follow the steps to create a user profile and add the thermometer. Make sure that the Smart Nursery app is active and that Bluetooth on your mobile device is activated when pairing is in progress.

Tap on the Smart Touchless Forehead Thermometer to enter Follow “Step 1”. Make sure that your thermometer is switched on thermometer set-up mode. (Picture A3) then press Next. (Picture A5) A3 Tap Skip to set-up or scroll to review features. (Picture A4) A5 Follow “Step 2”. Pair the thermometer with your mobile device via Bluetooth.

Switching between 4 Kinds of Measuring Mode 1. Under power on status, you can press the Human/Object Button to switch different measuring mode. There are 4 kinds of mode which including Human, Object, Human/Night, and Object/Night Mode (in order). 2. The beep sounds will be off (mute) when your choice in Human/Night Mode, and Object/Night Mode, and the Moon symbol will appears on the LCD in both Night Modes. NOTE: Each press will comes with a beep sound to ensure the setting is activated.

Measuring Human Temperature 3. Position the thermometer around 0.5-3cm from the center of the patient's forehead with the sensor aimed between the eyebrows. 4. Press and release the Measure button. 5. Slowly move the device toward or farther from the forehead until you have reached the correct distance. (If the distance is beyond the correct distance, the dash-icon on the display flashes with beep sound in this sequence until the correct distance is achieved.

Memory Function Memory Recall: There is a total of 4 users; each user can store 50 sets of memory data for recording forehead temperature measurements. The current measurement is always stored in the last storage space. When all storage spaces have been occupied, the earliest measurement is always deleted from the memory. Press the Memory Button button to check the memory data. The LCD screen displays memory number and measured temperature.

Error Codes Operating the Bluetooth function When a malfunction or incorrect temperature measurement occurs, an error message will appear as described below. LCD Display Cause The temperature measured is higher than 1. Human mode: Higher than 43°C or lower than 34°C 2. Object mode: Higher than 99.9°C or lower than 0.
