Making and answering calls
During a call, to adjust the volume in the
cordless handset’s earpiece or speakerphone:
1 Press the VOLUME button
è The display shows the current volume level
(1 to 5 ) as a number of small circles
2 Press the VOLUME button repeatedly to
cycle through the volume levels
(1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 1, 2, etc.)
è The cordless handset will stay at this volume
level until you change the volume again.
You have a choice of five ringing volume levels,
or you can turn the ringer off altogether.
While the handset is idle (not busy on a call):
1 Press the VOLUME button briefly
è The display shows the current volume level
(Off, 1 to 5 ) as a number of small circles, and
the handset rings at that level.
2 Press the RIGHT or LEFT button briefly to
change the volume
3 Press the VOLUME button again to confirm

You have a choice of nine ringing melodies.
While the handset is idle (not busy on a call):
1 Press the VOLUME button and hold it for
about 3 seconds
è The display shows the current ringer (1 to 9 )
2 Press the RIGHT or LEFT button briefly to hear
the different ringer melodies
When you reach the melody you prefer:
3 Press the VOLUME button again to confirm
