10. SMS TEXT MESSAGING
10.1 Write and send SMS
Short Message application enables you to send and receive
text messages to and from another party, using Short
Messaging Service (SMS). You can use Short Message to
send messages to another mobile phone or device that is
capable of receiving SMS messages. To compose and
send an SMS message, follow the steps below:
1. From the home screen, press to enter write
message screen.
2. Enter the text message using the keypad and press .
3. Scroll to one of the following options:
Only send
Send the SMS only.
Only save
Save the SMS only. The SMS will be
saved into Draftbox.
Send and
Save
Send and save the SMS. The SMS will
be saved into Outbox after sending.
4. Press to confirm your selection.
5. Enter the recipient‟s phone number or press
Search to select from the phonebook.
6. Press to confirm.
The message is sent if “Message Sent Successfully”
appears.
7. Press to return to the home screen
