Zur Spannungsversorgung in Netzwerken werden bisher 7/8 Zoll, RD24 und M23 Rund- bzw. Rechtecksteck-
verbinder eingesetzt. Da diese relativ groß sind und deshalb viel Platz benötigen, wurde nach Lösungen
gesucht, um die kompakten und weltweit bewährten M12 Steckverbinder POWER-tauglich zu machen. Binder
realisiert dies indem 1,5 mm Kontakte im M12 Bauraum mit neuer, genormter T-Kodierung untergebracht
werden. Anstatt wie bisher 4 A können jetzt 12 A übertragen werden.
Momentan sind Kabel- und Flanschsteckverbinder mit Schraubklemmkontakten für Kabeldurchmesser von
8–10 mm und Anschlussquerschnitten von 1,5 mm

lieferbar.
Eine Programmerweiterung wird zeitnah realisiert.
Im gesteckten und verriegelten Zustand erfüllen die Steckverbinder die Schutzart IP67.

M12 DC Connectors for POWER with T-Coding
For the power supply in networks usually 7/8 inch, RD24 and M23 circular or rectangular connectors are used.
As these are fairly big and therefore require quite a lot of space Binder searched for solutions to make the
worldwide proven M12 connectors work as POWER connectors. This is realized by putting 1,5 mm contacts inside
the M12 connectors with the new and normed T-coding. Instead of 4 A as before now 12 A can be transferred.
Currently cable and panel mount parts with screw clamp contacts for cable diameters from 8 to 10 mm with 1,5
mm² wire cross-section are available.
Further enlargements of the product range will be realized shortly.
When mated and locked the connectors fulfil IP67.
