20.5 Connection set-up with address selection
1.
Cover the Reglobeam’s infrared interface
with your hand.
2. Press ➔ flashes
3. Uncover the IR interface and press one
of the keys ...
(address of the desired sensor)
➔ and also one of keys … lights up if the
connection has been successfully established.
➔ If and one of the keys to light up,
but no further settings are possible,
then configuration mode is not activated.
➔ Activate configuration mode
(section 20.2)

➔ If continues to flash, no connection
could be made.
➔ Check whether the correct address
has been set or selected.
➔ Hold the remote control unit closer
to the sensor and aim it directly at it.
➔ Check the batteries in the Reglobeam.
➔ If no keys light up on the Reglobeam,
replace the batteries.
Note
The connection to the choosen sensor is set-up
as long as the connection has to be set-up newly
by pressing .

The code can only be saved if the sensor is already in
configuration mode (see section 20.2). The unit is protected
as soon as the code has been saved (configuration mode is
deactivated).

(any number from 1111 to 9998 can be chosen)

Jupiter/Jupiter SE/Jupiter Presence can be protected with a four-digit access code against unwanted manipulation by third parties.
This code enables configuration mode to be reactivated at any time by remote control in order to make settings.
This “Access code” function is switched on by default (code 1111).

Important: all unit parameters are set to
factory default.
Press the control keys and simultaneously for
8 seconds. Both LEDs light up briefly every two seconds.
