Autoscale
Resizes the graph to fit the whole trace on the screen. This function changes the
reference and scale of a trace.
Reference
Sets the y-axis value at the top of the graph.
Scale
Sets the dB value of each partition of the graph on a scale from 1 to 15. The
graph is partitioned into 10 divisions, giving a set number of dB per division.
Note: This soft key is not displayed if the Units of measure is in Volt
or Watt. See “Units” on page 71.
Attenuation
Controls the built-in attenuator on the signal input. This reduces the amplitude of a
high-powered signal. The attenuation can be set to Auto, or at levels of 0, 10, 20,
and 30 dB. The reported value of the signal is automatically corrected for the
selected attenuation.
Note: When the Reference (see “Reference”) is set to a higher set-
ting, Attenuation will automatically set itself above this setting.
Example - When the Reference is set to 25 dBm, Attenuation
automatically sets itself to 30 dB and cannot be lowered.
