Cleaning Formula WARNING To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock due to internal component damage, use only BISSELL® cleaning formula intended for use with this machine. Keep plenty of genuine BISSELL Spot & Stain Cleaner formula for portable carpet cleaning machines on hand so you can clean whenever it fits your schedule. Always use genuine BISSELL cleaning formulas.
Assembly WARNING Do not plug in your cleaner until you are familiar with all instructions and operating procedures. 2 1 Slide the flex hose clip into opening on the front of the machine. You will hear a “snap” when it is locked into place. 4 3 Snap the hose grip bracket into the back of the machine on the Clean Water/Solution Tank side. Snap the second tool storage (select models) into the back between the Cord Wrap and hose grip bracket.
Filling the Clean Water/Solution Tank 2 1 Remove the tank by pulling the top of the tank away from the unit. Pull black tab to reveal tank opening. The plug rotates out of the way for easy filling. 4 3 Add water to the indicated fill line on the solution tank. FORMULA BOOST Add formula to the indicated fill line on the solution tank. Add 1 ounce of any BISSELL® Boost, if desired.
Pre-Treating IMPORTANT: Check the manufacturer’s tag before cleaning upholstery. “W” or “WS” on the tag means you can use your cleaner. If tag is coded with an “S” (with diagonal strike-through), or says “Dry Clean Only,” do not proceed. If manufacturer’s tag is missing or not coded, check with your furniture dealer. WHY PRETREAT? Cleaning effectiveness will be enhanced if you pre-treat heavily stained or highly soiled areas. 1 Check the manufacturer’s tag before cleaning upholstery.
Cleaning with Tools WARNING Keep spray away from face. Failure to do so may result in personal injury. CLEANING WITH THE 3"/4” Tough Stain Tool Attach the 3”/4” Tough Stain Tool to the handheld cleaning hose. Press the spray trigger to mist solution over and onto the soiled area. Release spray trigger and gently scrub the stain. To lift the stain away, apply downward pressure on the tool and slowly pull it toward you. Then use “drying strokes” (by not pressing down trigger) to remove remaining moisture.
Cleaning with Stain Trapper Tool WARNING Keep spray away from face. Failure to do so may result in personal injury. 2 1 Attach the Stain Trapper Tool to the end of the hose. 4 3 Slowly move the tool back and forth over the stain. Be careful not to move the tool back and forth too quickly or soiled water will flow back into the hose. 5 To empty the Stain Trapper Tool, rotate the small tank on the bottom of the tool to unlock it.
Emptying the Dirty Water Tank WARNING To reduce the risk of electric shock, turn power OFF and disconnect from electrical outlet before performing maintenance or troubleshooting. 1 2 To remove the Dirty Water Tank simply pull the top of the tank to the right. 3 Carefully empty Dirty Water Tank, as some water may potentially enter/drain from center float stack. Pull tab to remove plug from tank. 4 Close the tank plug and return tank to unit. Ensure tank is secure before use.
Cleaning the Float Stack WARNING To reduce the risk electric shock, turn power OFF and disconnect from electrical outlet before performing maintenance or troubleshooting. 2 1 The float stack can be removed from the Dirty Water Tank for cleaning. Turn it counter-clockwise to remove it. Remove the float stack from the Dirty Water Tank. 4 3 Rinse with water until all debris is removed and let air dry. Return the float stack to the Dirty Water Tank.
Thermal Protector An internal thermal protector has been designed into your carpet cleaner to protect it from overheating. When the thermal protector activates, the suction motor will stop operating. If this happens proceed as follows: 2 1 Turn the cleaner OFF. 3 Check the end of the hose and tool for blockages and remove if necessary. Check the float stack for clogs and remove debris. Unplug cleaner from the electrical outlet. 4 Let the motor cool for approximately 30 minutes.
Troubleshooting WARNING To reduce the risk of electric shock, turn power switch OFF and disconnect from electrical outlet before performing maintenance or troubleshooting checks. Problem Reduced Spray or No Spray Carpet Cleaner Won’t Pick Up Cleaning Solution Deep Reach Tool is Over-Spraying Formula (Formula is Spraying Out the Sides) Dirty Water Tank Leaking 14 Possible causes Remedies Spray nozzle clogged. Clean spray nozzle using an unfolded paper clip. Clean Water/Solution Tank empty.

Utilice siempre las fórmulas de limpieza originales de BISSELL.
Ensamblaje ADVERTENCIA No enchufe su limpiador hasta haber comprendido todas las instrucciones y procedimientos de funcionamiento. 2 1 Deslice el sujetador para la manguera flexible hacia la abertura de la parte frontal de la máquina. Escuchará un “chasquido” cuando esté segura en su lugar. 4 3 Encaje a presión la abrazadera del agarre de la manguera en la parte posterior de la máquina en el costado del tanque de agua limpia.
Llenado del tanque de solución 1 Retire el tanque levantándolo en forma recta hacia arriba y hacia fuera de la unidad. 3 Agregue agua hasta la línea indicada en el tanque de solución. 2 Jale la lengüeta negra para ver la apertura del tanque. El tapón gira hacia fuera para un llenado fácil. 4 FÓRMULA ACELERADOR Agregue la fórmula hasta la línea indicada en el tanque de solución. Si lo desea, añada 29,57 ml (1 onza) de cualquier acelerador BISSELL®.
Tratamiento previo IMPORTANTE: revise la etiqueta del fabricante antes de limpiar tapicería. Si aparece “W” o “WS” en la etiqueta, significa que puede utilizar su limpiador. Si la etiqueta tiene un código “S” (con una diagonal que lo cruza) o dice “Solo limpieza en seco”, no continúe. Si falta la etiqueta del fabricante o esta no tiene código, consulte a su proveedor de muebles.
Limpieza con accesorios ADVERTENCIA Mantenga el chorro alejado del rostro. El incumplimiento de dicho paso puede provocar lesiones personales. LIMPIEZA CON EL ACCESORIO PARA MANCHAS DIFÍCILES DE 7,62 CM Y DE 10,16 CM Fije el accesorio para manchas difíciles de 7,62 cm o el de 10,16 cm a la manguera de limpieza manual. Presione el gatillo de rociado para nebulizar la solución sobre el área sucia. Suelte el gatillo de rociado y frote suavemente la mancha.
Limpieza con el accesorio atrapa manchas ADVERTENCIA Mantenga el chorro alejado del rostro. El incumplimiento de dicho paso puede provocar lesiones personales. 2 1 Fije el accesorio atrapa manchas al extremo de la manguera. 3 Mueva lentamente el accesorio hacia atrás y hacia delante sobre la mancha. Tenga cuidado de no mover el accesorio hacia delante y hacia atrás demasiado rápido o podría devolverse agua sucia dentro de la manguera.
Vacíe el tanque de agua sucia ADVERTENCIA Para reducir el riesgo de descarga eléctrica, coloque el interruptor de encendido en la posición OFF (Apagado) y desconecte el enchufe del tomacorriente antes de realizarle mantenimiento a la unidad o solucionar problemas. 1 2 Para retirar el tanque recolector de agua sucia, solo levante el tanque de la base de la máquina. 3 Vacíe con cuidado el tanque de agua sucia, ya que podría ingresar o filtrarse algo de agua desde el cañón flotante central.
Limpie el cañón flotante ADVERTENCIA Para reducir el riesgo de descarga eléctrica, coloque el interruptor de encendido en la posición OFF (Apagado) y desconecte el enchufe del tomacorriente antes de realizarle mantenimiento a la unidad o solucionar problemas. 1 Puede retirar el cañón flotante del tanque de agua sucia para limpiarlo. Gírelo en dirección contraria a las manecillas del reloj para hacerlo. 2 Retire el cañón flotador del tanque de agua sucia.
Protector térmico Su limpiador de alfombras posee un protector térmico interno diseñado para protegerlo del sobrecalentamiento. Si se activa el protector térmico, el motor de succión dejará de funcionar. Si esto ocurre, haga lo siguiente: 2 1 Apague el limpiador. 3 Revise que los extremos de la manguera y de el accesorio no estén bloqueados y retírelos si es necesario.Verifique que el cañón flotador no tenga obstrucciones y retire los desechos. Desenchufe el limpiador del tomacorriente.
Solución de problemas ADVERTENCIA Para reducir el riesgo de descarga eléctrica, lleve el interruptor de encendido a la posición de apagado y desconecte el enchufe del tomacorriente antes de realizar mantenimiento o solucionar problemas en la unidad.
