2. VALIDATING THE INSTALLATION

Before going through the validation steps, you have to agree with the Subscription Agreement.

Please take some time to read the Subscription Agreement as it contains the terms and conditions

under which you may use Bitdefender Mobile Security for iOS. Tap Continue to proceed to the next

window.

To use Bitdefender Mobile Security for iOS you must link your device to a Bitdefender, Facebook,

Google, or Microsoft account by signing in to the account from the app. The  rst time you open the

app, you will be prompted to sign in to an account. Use your login credentials to link your device to

one of your accounts.

3. ENJOY YOUR iOS

Bitdefender Mobile Security for iOS can help you lock your device to prevent your personal data

from getting into the wrong hands. When your iOS device is lost or stolen, go from any web browser

to the Bitdefender account linked to your device and use the Lock and Wipe options from the Anti-

Theft feature. There are two way to access your Bitdefender account:

• Go to https://central.bitdefender.com/ and log in using the email address

and password you used to create it.

• Go to App Store, search Bitdefender Central, and download and install the

app. Log in using the email address and password you used to create it.

Bitdefender Account Privacy automatically detects if the accounts you use for online banking,

shopping or signing in different apps or websites have been compromised.

Each time you connect to an unsecured wireless network, use the Bitdefender VPN feature to

secure your online activity, hide your IP address, or access content that normally is restricted in

certain areas.
