4. ENJOY MULTI-LAYER PROTECTION

Bitdefender will check for security updates every hour, and you are not required to con gure any

settings. However, feel free to take advantage of the con guration options to  ne-tune and improve

protection.

From time to time, open Bitdefender and  x any existing security issues. To keep your Bitdefender

product working at its full capacity and increase protection while carrying out different activities,

check out the Autopilot recommendations.

Each time you connect to an unsecured wireless network, use the Bitdefender VPN app to secure

your online activity, hide your IP address, or access content that normally is restricted in certain

areas.

Due to the embedded Photon technology, the impact on the system will be reduced to zero. Photon

is an innovative non-intrusive Bitdefender technology, designed to minimize the performance

impact of antivirus protection. By monitoring your PC’s activity in the background, it creates usage

patterns that help optimize booting and scanning processes.
