1. Measure tank depth - determine if there is a riser.

2. Verify there is enough horizontal space for the oat arm. If your tank is HEIGHT H, then you need
H/2 amount of clearance for the arm's travel.
3. Extend hex wrench to loosen the set screw in the support arm's collar.
4. Extend the support arm to the correct length, Hriser + H
L

5. While maintaining the length from step 4, align the oat arm in line with the spring loaded shaft.
(This will help prevent twists and tangles in the chain.) Tighten the set screw to lock the position
of the support arm.
6. Use hex wrench to loosen the set screws in the oat arm's collar.
