Installation • Before installation, power off all devices that will be connected to this system. • Make sure that all devices you will connect are properly grounded. • Place cables away from fluorescent lights, air conditioners, and machines that are likely to generate electrical noise. NOTE: If you encounter no screen display after connecting a device: 1. Make sure the device cables are correctly and firmly attached. 2. Set your display device’s input source as HDMI. 3.

For models that support the standard audio feature (AVSW-HDMI4X1A or AVSW-HDMI2X1A), plug a set of audio jacks from the speaker to the switch’s speaker port. 2. Use an HDMI cable to connect the source device to the video input port on the switch.
Chapter 4: Operation 4. Operation 4.1 Front-Panel Indicators Figure 4-1 shows the 4-Port Video Switch with Audio (AVSW-HDMI4X1A). The AVSW-HDMI2X1A switch is similar, but has two HDMI ports instead of four. Figure 4-2 shows the 4-Port Video Switch (AVSW-HDMI4X1). The controller’s serial port should be configured as shown below.
