4.2 Set Reference

Connect OMNIScanner and OMNIRemote through their test connector ports

using the test cable and the MOD 8 adapter. Select Set Reference to display the

SET REFERENCE screen. OMNIScanner will immediately start to communicate

with OMNIRemote.

While the reference data is being established, a gauge indicates the progress.

OMNIScanner notifies you when the process has been completed. The Remote

Info screen will be displayed.

NOTE

Set Reference is only needed to periodically verify and establish the

signal reference for attenuation. The function does not affect any other

measurements.

Press ESC to return to the Setup screen.
