For Permanent Link Autotests, connect the supplied Link adapters in the same

manner as the Basic Link.

During permanent link Autotests, the effects of the link adapters are removed

from the measurements.

The Permanent Link method measures the link only, from jack to jack

(including the Modular 8 plug that plugs into the Jack).
