RESET TO DEFAULT CONFIGURATION

NOTE : After performing this operation all interfaces
will be set to NORMAL configuration.
0. Exit.
1. Reset to default configuration.

2. Choose option 1, Reset to default configuration, and type reset.
3. Choose 0, Exit, to return to the Configuration screen.
5.4 Changing the Password
The default password for starting terminal operations is “fibermux” (all eight characters are lower case). To
change the current password:
1. Choose option 3, Password management, from the Main Fibermux menu. The Password Management screen
appears (see Figure 5-13).

1. Set new monitor password.

2. Choose option 1, Set new monitor password.
3. Type an 8-character password and press <Enter>. Add space(s) for a password shorter than 8 characters. An
asterisk (*) appears on the screen after each character typed. Since the mux’s password is case-sensitive, you
may use a combination of upper- and lower-case characters.
4. Choose 0, Exit, to return to the Main Fibermux menu.
