Extender Compatibility
The ServSwitch Brand CATx KVM Extender Series of CATx KVM extender products
offer enhanced performance while maintaining complete compatibility with existing
ServSwitch standalone and rack mount CAT5 extenders.
You can use CAT5 and CATx products belonging to the same family in any combination.
However, it is not possible to mix Standard and Audio products within a system except for
video only applications. CATx units are not currently compatible with SUN (ACU1004A,
ACU1005A) or Serial-only products (ACU1002A, ACU1008A, ACUSREM, ACU1006SRA,
ACU1006DSRA).
