For example, you can time your bread to be ready for dinner or when you wake up in the morning.

For each selected setting, the baking time has been preprogrammed. The recipes provided on pages 14-22 will help you determine which program setting you should use. Pour boiling water over dates in small bowl. Add baking soda. Let stand at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Coil twist on greased baking sheet; tuck and seal end. Repeat with remaining strips of dough. Place about 1 tbsp. filling in center of each swirl. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled in size (about 45 minutes). Bake in preheated oven at 375° F. until golden brown, about 20 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
