Problem
• AUTOSENSE Technology
doesn't work or stops
prematurely.
• Unitwill not start.
• Battery pack willnot
charge.
• Unit shutsoff abruptly.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Possible Cause
•AUTOSENSE Technology
disengaged
•Tool in drill mode.
• Not enough pressure
when driving.
• Battery pack not installed
properly.
• Batterypack notcharged.
• Battery pack not inserted
intocharger.
• Charger not plugged in.
•Surrounding airtemperature
too hot or too cold.
• Battery pack has reached its
maximum thermal limit.
• Outof charge. (To
maximize the lifeof the
battery pack itis designed
to shutoff abruptly when
the charge is depleted.)
Possible Solution
• Release the trigger and
depress it again to
reactivate the
AUTOSENSE technology.
• Ensure toot is in
screwdriver mode as
described in "Drill / Drive
Mode Select."
• Try again and apply
a substantial amount of
pressure to the back of
the toot.
• Check battery pack
installation.
• Check battery pack
charging requirements.
• Insertbattery pack into
charger until green LED
appears.
• Plugcharger intoa
working outtet.Refer to
"Important Charging
Notes"for more details.
• Movecharger and battery
packto a surrounding air
temperature Ofoabove 40
degrees F (4.5 C) or below
105 degrees F (+40.5°C).
•Allow battery packto
cool down.
• Placeon charger and
allow to charge.
