• If necessary, wash the two filters (12
and 13) in warm, soapy water.
• Make sure that the filters are dry
before refitting them to the appliance.
•Refitthepleatedfilterintotheplastic
pre-filter.
•
Refitthepre-filterintothedustcontainer(10)
until it locks into place.
•Closethetransparentdoorand
make sure it clicks into place. Refit to
appliance.

WARNING:
Projectile/Respiratory Hazard: Neverusetheappliance
without the filters. Optimum dust collection will only be achieved with clean filters.
CAUTION:
Donotturn
appliance on when dust container is removed.
•Pushandholdthereleasebowlbutton
(5)onthedustcollector.
•Rotatethehandletowardthebottomof
the appliance.
•Pullthedustcontainertotheside,and
away from the base of the appliance.
NOTE: You can then remove the filters
as described above, or remove only the
pleatedfilter(13)
by pulling it firmly from the
nowexposedside.
• Oncefiltersareremoved,wipethedust
container with a damp cloth, or rinse with
warm soapy water and allow to dry as
shown in figure J.

o replace the dust container, with the
filters installed slide the container back
onto the base and rotate the handle toward
the front of the appliance until an audible
clickisheard.Ensurethatthecontaineris
fully fastened back onto the base.
REPLACING THE FILTERS
The filters should be replaced every
6to9monthsandwheneverwornordamaged.Replacementfiltersareavailablefrom
yourBlack+Deckerdealer(cat.no.PVF110):
•Removetheoldfiltersasdescribedabove.
•Fitthenewfiltersasdescribedabove.
